The Blazer
I purchased this 78' K5 Blazer for 600 dollars. It has a 9 inch lift and sits on the stock axles on 35 inch Mickey Thompson Bajas.
It was such a great deal i just couldn't pass it up. The only problem was the engine. It snapped the number 1 and 2 rods right in half. Luckily I had a spare 350 just laying around.

With about 2 days work and a case of Bud light we got the old engine out and the new one built, installed, and started. Instead of a mechanical fuel pump I went for an inline electric pump. The engine has a high rise Weiand manifold and an Edelbrock performer carb. The heads are basically new, aftermarket cast iron, stockers. Everything about this engine is stock.  Soon i hope to purchase a big block Chevy to build to about 550 HP.

The lift is just a small 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body. I'll be getting some 10 inch springs soon, and possibly some 44 inch tires. The axles are a 12 bolt rear and a Dana 44 Front, with stock gears as far as i know.
